Fintecheye aims to provide in-depth, analytical coverage of the financial technology industry.

Purchasing a new system or upgrade, developing strategies and dealing with regulation are serious – and costly – undertakings. Understanding the impact of the rapid advances in technology and changes in regulation requires more than a stream of tweets or three-paragraph news stories bereft of context.

Fintecheye has been created by Heather McKenzie, a journalist with 34 years experience covering technology and the financial services industry. She has reported on a broad range of topics, including wealth management, asset management, investment banking, clearing and settlement through to payments, cash management, commercial banking and trade finance. Her work has appeared in a wide variety of publications, including national newspapers, trade magazines, client publications, newsletters and show dailies. She also edited Daily News at Sibos, the independent, high-quality conference daily for Swift’s annual Sibos conference, for more than 20 years.

Along with stories by Heather, Fintecheye will feature guest posts from other respected journalists and analysts in the financial technology world.
